How to register and send money using the Mama Money app

How to register

1. Download the Mama Money app from the Apple Store or Google Play
2. Enter your phone number 
3. Create a pin that you will use to login into your Mama Money account
4. Fill in your personal details
5. Upload a clear picture of your passport, ID, asylum, or refugee documents
6. Take a selfie on the app to complete your registration. 
7. You will then receive an SMS within 24 hours to confirm your account's activation. 

Now that you have registered for the app, it is time to add your first recipient. 

How to add a recipient

1. Login to your app and tap the 'recipient' button
2. Press the '+' icon at the bottom of the screen to add the recipient details. Enter their name, country, and cellphone number 
3. Select how you would like your loved one to receive the money: Cash Payout, Mobile Wallet, or Bank EFT
4. Check all the details are correct, and press confirm to add your recipient.

How to send money

1. Login to the Mama Money App and select Send Money.
2. Choose the recipient you want to send the money.
3. Enter the amount you want to send or the cashout amount for your recipient and press Next.
4. Confirm your amount and select how you want to pay for your transfer, with cash or EFT, and press Confirm & send.

It is that easy. Your order is now created. Once you have paid for your order, you can track your order by clicking on transactions on the home screen to see when the money has arrived.
