We’re making an exciting upgrade to keep your money safe and your experience smooth.
This month (January 2026), Mama Money will partner with Bank Zero instead of Access Bank. The transition window will run from 27th January to 28th February. After this date, all deposits should be made into the new Bank Zero account details.
This change only affects the bank account number you use for EFT deposits or salary payments.
Everything else stays the same:
Your money remains 100 % safe, and you’ll continue to receive deposits in real time during the transition.
We’re moving to Bank Zero to give you an even better experience.
This new partnership will make future upgrades faster and bring new features in early 2026 — like higher limits, EFT Out (sending to any SA bank), and international card use (Temu, Shein, Uber & more).
It’s part of our ongoing goal to make Mama Money safer, smarter, and more flexible for everyone.
If you joined Mama Money:
Before 27 January 2026
You’ll get new Bank Zero account details for salary and deposit payments. Your old Access Bank account will still receive money during the transition, but please start using the new details.
After 28th February 2026
You’ll automatically have Bank Zero account details from day one.
The transition runs until 28th February 2026. After that, all deposits and salary payments must go into your new Bank Zero account

If you receive a salary or regular payments, share these new details with your employer or anyone who pays you before 28th February 2026.
