Terms and Conditions - Mama Money Cashback Competition - October 2022

1. The promoter is Mama Money (Pty) Ltd (2013/022174/07) (hereinafter “Mama Money” or “the promoter”) whose registered office is at 29 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, 7925, Cape Town, South Africa.
2. Competitions are open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older, except if you are a Mama Money employee. It should be noted that Mama Money agents are independent contractors and are accordingly not disqualified from entering this competition.
3. To qualify to enter this competition you must be registered as an account holder with Mama Money and must have transacted during the period in which the competition was promoted.
   1. The competition period for the October Cashback Competition is from 14 October 2022 until 11 November 2022
4. By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions
5. No responsibility will be accepted by the promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.
6. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Participants will be notified by the promoter of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
7. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate information relating to prizes that are relayed to any participant by anyone other than the promoter.
8. The prizes that a participant can win in this competition are as follows:
   1. The promoter is giving away cash prizes to the value of R180,000 (One Hundred and Eighty Thousand South African Rand) to registered Mama Money account holders who transacted during the period in which the competition was promoted. 
   2. In order to enter, you must: 
      1. Send a minimum of R500 using the Mama Money service. 
      2. Send money to the selected payout institutions in these countries only using the Mama Money service. 
         1. M-Pesa in Mozambique
         2. MTN in Uganda
         3. MTN in Cameroon
         4. Orange, M-Pesa, and Airtel in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
9. Each winner will win a Rand amount equal to the value of the winner’s most recent Mama Money order, up to a maximum of R2000
10. Winners will be chosen by software at random from all the entries received and will be verified by the promoter and or its agents.
11. The winner will be notified by SMS, telephone call or on Facebook on the closing date or such other date as stipulated. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 (seven) days the prize will be forfeited. 
12. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/will be delivered.
13. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with participants in this regard.
14. Competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
