Festive Campaign Terms and Conditions 2022

The promoter is Mama Money (Pty) Ltd (2013/022174/07) (hereinafter “Mama Money” or “the promoter”) whose registered office is at 29 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, 7925, Cape Town, South Africa.
Competitions are open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older, except if you are a Mama Money employee or a close relative of a Mama Money employee. It should be noted that Mama Money agents are independent contractors and are accordingly not disqualified from entering this competition.
To qualify to enter this competition “#Mama’s Merry Money Mania” a participant must be registered as an account holder with Mama Money and must have transacted, for a minimum of R600 (Six Hundred South African Rands), during the period in which the competition was promoted.
By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The closing date for any entries will be stipulated in a promotional post on all social media platforms and will be determined by the promoter. No further entries to the competition will be accepted after the stipulated closing date.
No responsibility will be accepted by the promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Participants will be notified by the promoter of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate information relating to prizes that are delayed to any participant by anyone other than the promoter.
The prizes that a participant can win in this competition are as follows:
1. The promoter is giving away cash for the total sum of R150,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand South African Rands) to registered Mama Money account holders who transact during the period in which the competition is promoted: 14th of November 2022 until the 23rd of December 2022.
2. The prize will be awarded according to the below criteria:
  1. Any customer who sends R600 or more during the promotion period is automatically entered and can win back the money they send.
  2. Winners: Every week the promoter will announce 10 (ten) winners on the Facebook page and will contact the winning customers.
  3. The maximum amount a customer can is capped at R2500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred South African Rands)
  4. Winners will be chosen by software at random from all the entries received and will be verified by the promoter and or its agents.
The winner will be notified by SMS, telephone call or on Facebook on the closing date or such other date as stipulated. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/will be delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with participants in this regard.
Competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material on social media. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant’s prior consent.
The winner’s name will be recorded and kept on file for 3 years after the closing date of the competition and queries in this regard can be directed to the following email address: marketing@mamamoney.co.za
