PEP & Mama Money Campaign 2023 - Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is Mama Money (Pty) Ltd (2013/022174/07) (hereinafter “Mama Money” or “the Promoter”) whose registered office is at 29 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, 7925, Cape Town, South Africa.
2. Competitions are open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older, except if you are a Mama Money employee or a close relative of a Mama Money employee. It should be noted that Mama Money agents are independent contractors and are accordingly not disqualified from entering this competition.
3. To qualify for this “Mama Money & PEP” competition (“the Competition”), the entrant must follow the steps stipulated on PEP’s and or Mama Money’s digital & in-store channels and transact during the competition period. 
4. The competition period is 01 September 2023 to 30 September 2023 (both days included) (“the Competition Period”). 
5. By entering this Competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6. The closing date for any entries will be stipulated in a promotional post on all digital, in-store platforms & national radio channels and will be determined by the promoter. No further entries to the competition will be accepted after the stipulated closing date.
7. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Participants will be notified by the Promoter of any changes to the Competition as soon as possible.
9. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate information relating to prizes that are relayed to any participant by anyone other than the Promoter.
10. To qualify for the cash prize of R10 000 (“the Prize”) a Mama Money customer must send money for a minimum value of R2500 at any PEP store nationwide during the Competition Period.
11. The winner will be chosen randomly from all valid entries in the Competition Period by a computer operated draw and will be verified by the promoter.
12. The competition is open to all participants eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entering the competition within the Republic of South Africa and must be registered as an account holder with Mama Money and must have transacted during the Competition Period.
13. You must have valid identity documents i.e. ID, passport, Refugee or Asylum papers to participate. You are not eligible to participate in this competition if: 
    1. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of Mama Money its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition;
    2. You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 12.1 above.
    3. You are a Mama Money employee or a close relative of a Mama Money employee.
14. The winner will be notified by SMS, telephone call or on Facebook on the draw date or such other date as stipulated. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
15. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/will be delivered.
16. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with participants in this regard.
17. Competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material on social media. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant’s prior consent.
