How much money can I send to the Philippines via Mama Money?

Once your account is activated, you can send up to R25,000 per order and up to R25,000 per month. You can also upgrade your account to send higher limits of up to R50,000 per order and R100,000 per month. Select the “Increase Limits” button in the Mama Money app to upgrade your account.

How do I pay for my Mama Money order to the Philippines?

You can pay in cash at a participating retailer, via EFT, or through other payment options available in the Mama Money app. Your transfer will be processed once payment is confirmed.

How does my recipient receive the money in the Philippines?

Your recipient can receive money directly into their bank account or supported mobile wallet in Philippine Peso (PHP). Please make sure the correct bank or wallet details are entered to avoid delays.
